Our narrative books are developmentally appropriate and co-produced with caregivers. They are books that explain difficult experiences to very young children, such as why they have come into care, why they might not see a parent, and traumatic events they have witnessed or experienced. We co-develop this narrative with you. It gives you and other key people a shared language that supports your child to understand and talk about their experience.
We complete an assessment to inform the narrative book and make sure this is the right support for you and your child. We develop a shared understanding and approach with you, making this a therapeutically informed experience.
